Come Watch Romeo & Juliet!

Reminder!

Come watch Romeo and Juliet at 1 pm on Wednesday, May 9. The movie is a modern day retelling of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, but uses the original Shakespearean language. The showing will go until approximately 3:15 pm. Those attending the movie will receive extra credit in their English classes and ninth graders are especially encouraged to attend. Due to the film's PG-13 rating, middle schoolers must obtain written parental permission to attend. Snacks will be provided!

Fun Science Lab

I would like to inform you of a lab opportunity that is coming up next week.

On Wednesday May 9th at 9:00am Mrs. Gorbett and Mr. Marquardt will be offering a lab that can be used to replace 2 labs or projects in Odysseyware.  We will be building pop bottle ecosystems.  You will be able to take home your very own ecosystem containing living fish, insects, and plants.  Over the following months you can watch your ecosystem change.  These are really cool and in the past Mr. Marquardt has kept one going for 1.5 years with new living things emerging every few months to be observed.  It is a really fun lab and will be a great opportunity to meet some of the other students at the web academy.  Hope to see you all there.

If interested please:
Email your name and grade to Mr. Marquardt at  marquardt6@gbwebacademy.org
Bring 2 clean 2 liter soda bottles with caps (if possible).

Hope to see you all there.

Climb 50 feet in the air, run a jack-hammer, go up in a lift bucket, build a birdhouse, make a stepping stone. All these are possible and more while attending the fair.
