  • Hello MEWA Parents,

    Hello MEWA Families,

I want to thank the parents who are regularly completing their parent weekly check-in, I would like to ask for further support. It looks like our numbers dropped to only 78 parents last week who checked in.

Each week we have been posting on Facebook encouraging parents to check in and posting the check in results of parents vs. students. Please check out our results at http://goo.gl/3oTOSJ, we would like to challenge our parents to increase those numbers.

Let us know how we can help and support you further, you can do this MEWA parents!!!

We have an upcoming field trip to Zengers Farm,  on November 18th. We will leave by bus at 9am and should arrive at Zengers farm for a tour and service learning project. We will leave the farm by 11:30, arriving back to campus by noon.

Please RSVP letting us know you would like to attend if at all possible. A field trip permission form is required in order to attend, please see link below.

We welcome volunteers, all parent volunteers who would like to chaperone need to complete a volunteer application form and be cleared by the district. Parent volunteers please RSVP!

Please dress for the weather in clothes that can get dirty, we should have lots of fun. Please bring extra shoes and a plastic bag if at all possible just in case.

For more info about Zengers farm please go to http://www.zengerfarm.org/
  • Due Dates and Pacing:
Unfortunately, due dates in Brainhoney are going to continue coming up through Thanksgiving and Christmas Breaks - the technology doesn't allow us to "black out" those dates. So even if you're on pace in your classes right now, if you take those breaks (as you deserve to!) you'll come back some number of assignments behind.

Check your pace chart in your courses to determine where you should be in course to avoid work during these holiday breaks.
